Ambient compositions built from coastal field recordings, textures of analogue machinery and a coastal weather report.
Everything begins at the water's edge, before the fog lifts. The recordings capture what happens in the silence between waves — the frequency of a buoy barely moving, the specific acoustic character of cold air over cold water, the sound of a coast that is not performing for anyone.
These recordings are the raw material. They enter the machines and do not emerge unchanged.
The music does not progress. It accumulates. Long-form pieces that build pressure so slowly the listener cannot locate the moment of change — only the before and the after, with no clear border between them.
Time measured not in bars but in the duration of a fog bank. Currently in production. No release date. It is finished when the light changes.
